Accessibility statement

Last updated: October 7, 2026

People who handle their own court cases use phones, screen readers, keyboards and large text. Legal Ops Depot aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on this public website. We have not yet had an outside audit, so this page says what we have done and what we know is not finished.

What we have done

  • Every page declares its language (English), so screen readers read it correctly.
  • Each page has one main heading, and the headings under it go in order without skipping a level, so you can jump by heading.
  • Pages are built from standard links, buttons and form controls, so they can be used with a keyboard. Focused links and buttons show a visible outline. On a narrow screen the menu opens with a button; Escape closes it and returns focus to the button. The first key press on any page shows a “Skip to content” link that jumps past the menu.
  • Questions and answers open and close with standard controls that work by keyboard and screen reader, without any script.
  • Body text measures at least 7 to 1 contrast against its background in both light and dark mode, above the WCAG AA minimum of 4.5 to 1.
  • The site follows your device’s dark mode setting.
  • If your device asks for reduced motion, animations and transitions on the site are turned off. The engine film on the home page shows a still frame and its scenes as text, with a Play control if you want to watch it.
  • The logo images are marked as decorative, and the links around them have names.

How we test the site

Before a release, every public page is checked at phone widths (320, 360 and 390 pixels) and at desktop width, in light and dark mode, for sideways scrolling, console errors and heading order, and every page in the sitemap was checked with the axe-core 4.10 and Lighthouse 12 accessibility tools. Last tested: October 7, 2026. A hand test with a screen reader (such as VoiceOver or NVDA) has not been done yet; we will list its results here.

What is not finished

  • The PDFs the software prepares are made to court filing and print rules. We have not yet checked them for PDF tagging, so assume a screen reader may not read them in the right order. If you need an accessible copy of your own document, write to us.
  • The sign-up and quote forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. If that check stops you, write to us and we will help another way.
  • The signed-in account and order pages have not yet been reviewed to the same standard as the public pages.

Tell us about an accessibility problem

If something on this site is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, write to contact@legalopsdepot.com. Say which page, what you were trying to do, and what you use (for example, an iPhone with VoiceOver). We will reply and tell you what we will change.
