Terms
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These terms cover your use of Legal Ops Depot: this website, your account, filing preparation, the law library plans, the AI connector and API keys. By making an account or placing an order you agree to them.
Who we are, and what we are not
Legal Ops Depot prepares court filings and runs a research library. We are not a law firm and we are not lawyers. Nothing on this site, in a filing we prepare, or in a research result is legal advice, and using the service does not create an attorney-client relationship. You decide what to file, you sign it, and you file it. You remain the filer.
Your account
- Use an email address you can read. We send confirmation, password and order messages there.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- You can change your name and password, and sign out, in your account settings.
Filing preparation
- Each filing is a one-time purchase. The price is shown before you pay. Items without a listed price are quoted first, through the quote form.
- We prepare the filing to the rules of the court you name, from the records and facts you give us. You review it, sign it and file it with the court yourself. The facts in it, the deadlines and the decision to file are yours.
- A paid filing opens your orders area, where you upload records and download finished work. It stays open for 365 days after your latest paid filing.
- We may decline work that does not fit what we offer, or ask for missing records before we start. Questions about a charge or a refund: write to contact@legalopsdepot.com.
Law library plans
- Every account starts on the Free plan. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, billed in advance by Stripe at the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe, and they renew each month until canceled.
- Each plan has a number of research calls a day, shown on the pricing page. A call is one lookup. The count resets at midnight UTC, and calls also have a per-minute limit. When the Free plan as a whole reaches its daily total, free calls pause until the next day.
- You can change or cancel a paid plan at any time from Plan and billing in your account, which opens the Stripe billing portal. When a paid plan ends, the account returns to Free.
- Research results point you to sources. Read the source itself before you rely on it; results can be incomplete or out of date.
The AI connector and API keys
- Every account includes the connector, which lets an AI app you choose look things up in the library while you sign in with your account. That app is run by its own provider under its own terms.
- API keys let your own software call the same read-only tools. Calls through the connector and through keys count toward the same daily calls.
- You are responsible for keeping your keys secret and for every call made with them. Revoke a key you no longer use or think someone else has. We may revoke a key, or pause an account, that is misused or that puts the service at risk.
Fair use
Do not try to get around the daily limits, share an account to do so, copy the library in bulk, or interfere with the service or other people's use of it.
Changes
We may change the service, our prices for new purchases, and these terms. When we change these terms we update the date at the top of this page.
