This page says what Legal Ops Depot collects when you use this website, your account, filing preparation, the law library, the AI connector and API keys, what we use it for, and how to ask us to delete it.

What we collect

• Your account: your email address, your name, and your password. We never store the password itself, only a one-way hash of it.
• Filing orders: the matters you open with us and the records and files you upload, plus the filings we prepare for you.
• Quote requests: the name, email, phone number, court, deadline and description you send on the quote form.
• Usage: how many research calls your account makes each day, through the connector or an API key, and when each key was created and last used. When your AI app or your software calls a tool, we receive the lookup it sends.
• IP addresses: when a sign-in fails because of a wrong password, we record the email, your IP address and the time, so repeated guessing can be slowed down. A successful sign-in clears those records, and records older than a day are no longer used and are deleted as new attempts come in. Sign-in, sign-up, email confirmation, password reset, quote and account-change requests are also counted per IP address by Cloudflare to limit how fast they can be sent; we do not store those counts.
• Payments: Stripe handles card details on its own pages and forms. We never see or store your card number. We keep the Stripe customer reference, your plan and whether a payment went through.

Services that handle it for us

• Stripe processes payments, subscriptions, receipts and the billing portal.
• Cloudflare Turnstile runs the bot check on our sign-up and quote forms. It looks at your browser to tell people from automated programs, and we send it your IP address with the check.
• Our mail provider sends account email: confirming your address, password resets, and messages about your orders.
• Your AI app: when you use the connector, the app you chose sends us its lookups and receives the results. What that app keeps from your conversation is up to its provider.

What we use it for

To run your account, prepare and deliver the filings you order, answer quote requests, count calls against your plan, bill you through Stripe, send account email, and stop abuse of the service.

On your device

The website keeps your sign-in in your browser's local storage until you sign out or it expires. The connector's sign-in page uses a cookie for the same purpose.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your account, matters and files while your account is open. To get a copy of a matter, or to ask us to delete a matter or your whole account, write to contact@legalopsdepot.com from the email on your account. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its own policies.
